AGWA UAW 1907 represents over 400 graduate workers at the University of Alaska including Research Assistants, Teaching Assistants, Fellows, and Student Assistants.
We won our first contract in 2024, securing wage increases, fee waivers, and improved worker protections. In Fall 2026, we begin bargaining our next agreement to continue to build on these gains.
